Marquette Network and Resources
The Marquette Practice Management Program is the product of development work in partnership with the DeCEM Group, a research and planning firm with more than 25 years of dental sector experience. The MUSoD commissioned a study of practice management needs and concerns in 2004. The MUSoD Advisory Council engaged the DeCEM Group to develop the pilot plan for the Marquette Practice Management Program after more than a year of study on professional issues and goals.
The development work to date has focused on course content, program value and practical use of practice management references. The DeCEM Group has generated and evaluated the pilot course material for 2007, and the procedures for course delivery are rolling out in late January and early February 2007.
A network of more than 30 professionals and advisory contacts has contributed to the development of the Marquette Practice Management Program. A task force of MUSoD leaders and Advisory Council members governs the program.
