PMP Delivers Excellence

The key purpose of the Practice Management Program is to provide dental professionals with the tools needed to expand and fine tune their business and management skills in order to improve internal operations and overall quality of patient care. It helps drive practice and professional success. The program meets the need for continuing education related to business management, and it presents contemporary management concepts in ways that will be useful to you on a daily basis and over the long-term.

Program Focus

We believe that great dental care in Wisconsin depends not only on sound clinical discipline but also on sound business planning. The MUSoD PMP pilot program focuses on business planning and how we can assist you in reaching both your professional and personal goals. It's about improving services, understanding where you want your practice to go and putting together a plan to get there while offering the best care to your patients. This agenda helps advance the successful practice of dental care.

Program Delivery

The Practice Management Program strives to deliver rich content matter to a diverse group of professionals in a classroom setting. Our program stands out among the competition because we not only recognize the need for a program of this stature - we also know how to meet the standard of excellence that has been a long standing element of Marquette University School of Dentistry.

The pilot program will be led by experienced practice management facilitators with knowledge of the everyday world of dental care. Five courses have been selected for delivery during the pilot program, while a total of 40 courses will be available once the full program has launched.

Each course will be presented in a manner that allows participants to enjoy immediate take-away value, and each course will be supported by two components:

  • Course Notebook

Contains a complete set of management materials that cover the course subject matter.

  • Course-Specific Application Materials

Materials and references for the everyday application of new management disciplines in practice.
